How we build on WordPress
We choose the tooling around one question: who maintains this site after we hand it over? When that answer is a developer, we build a child theme — your customisations live in a separate layer, so the parent theme can update without taking the site down with it. When the answer is your marketing person who needs to change a headline on a Tuesday, a page builder is the right call and we say so.
What does not change either way: everything is versioned, every change is reviewable, and anything we break we can put back.
